JC life is in full swing!

today is the 1st day i experience a full monday without any breaks in between. whew, what a super tiring day filled with lectures and tutorials! lecturers remained the same while our tutors are quite young. i think they look like moderately new teachers. 2 out of the 3 tutors we met today speak quite softly, sigh...

there was also PE, the last period of the day. yes, this time its really Physical Education, not games session. they made us run 4 rounds (1.6km) round the running track. have not ran long distances since last year's road run so i am really unfit now. i think zhao ying's so fit! she ran so fast until we didn't even see her!

CCA allocation will be out tomorrow! hopefully i can get into guitar. but i must be prepared to run on my own as there will no longer be ODAC PT. cant rely on that to boost my fitness anymore :(

ok, from today onwards, i'm determined to make new friends in my CG.

Happy Valentines' Day Eve everyone!

1st V.Day in MJC. zhao ying, dorisa and yi min were so nice they gave almost everyone gifts! zhao ying baked cookies, dorisa gave raisins and yi min gave us personalised cards. i'm so touched. thanks girls! (:

not forgetting our dear OGL janice who gave us a box of merci chocolates. thanks loads :D

i don't usually give my friends V.Day presents but Monday some of them giving so i don't give like not very nice... don't know how....

after school wanted to go e!-hub watch Underworld but the funny thing was jarvis didn't go check whether it was NC16 or not. in the end it was M18 so didnt watch anything -.- lol...

oh well i better go do all my tutorials and econs webquest.

i don't want us to drift apart...

2nd day of lectures.

only listened to chem and maths lectures. the other 2 lectures i wasn't really listening. so only understood a little bit of the physics lecture... economics totally slept through. better read the lecture notes tomorrow.

but i finally finished my chemistry tutorial! :D only left with economics webquest. 1st day of lectures they had already gave us 2 assignments sigh... oh well, this is pretty much the life i will be experiencing for the next 1.5 years, might as well face reality and start studying hard now.

i think i'm going to join netball! :p

****** is so act. i don't really like her. i also don't like ****. hopefully as time passes i can get along with them...

1st day of orientation was so-so. my OG was Callisto 8. played icebreaker games and learned the couple dance. after that played some typical orientation games which they called Operation Red Alert (ORA).

2nd day was Mass Meridian Monopoly aka MMM. its something like amazing race but more fun 'cos its real-life monopoly but without the property-buying. OGs could deposit any amount of Edwinas (named after the Students' Council President. they even printed his face on the notes haha!) if the OGs report back to the zone masters after completing at least 2 stations within 45 mins, their money will be doubled. we ran around areas like clarke quay, raffles place, bugis and city hall to complete our stations. the last time i ran like this was very long ago so i felt very tired. sigh, i'm really not fit at all now.

we played wet games for the last day of orientation. they called it the Great Meridian Siege (GMS). i think the climax of the GMS was the part when the 5 different houses had to invade the evil kingdom and destroy their lollipops. Callisto managed to destroy Miranda's lollipop woo! :D

orientation night (rock.on/finale) was exciting. the atmosphere was great and everyone was so high! after performances by the 5 different houses and the announcing of the winning house, we had mass dance. then everyone started cheering "school song!" all the OGMs sang the school song very loudly and really ALL of the jc1s were singing.

then Callisto's house captain Zakiah had her last speech as house captain (MJC removes all leadership roles from retainees). quite sad, i really hoped that she could remain as captain, respected her a lot. during orientation, she always told us to have fun instead of just thinking about winning the other houses. then we had our last cheer before going home:

3rd day in Meridian

made 2 new friends in my admin group today, but tomorrow we'll be separated into our CGs already... sad 'cos suhaida is in arts stream :'(

hopefully can be in same CG as wilson though...

talks in the morning were torture, i wasn't sleepy at first but all the talks made me sleep zzz.

we did mass dance after the talks and the choir auditions for the guys in my group (lol). the dance leaders were really good and patient in teaching us although the steps were very difficult to teach. they demonstrated very professionally and on tempo, not like AJC (oops :p). there was also a camerawoman filming us dancing. the film will be shown to the public and people will see how i cant dance for nuts.

the dance leaders will also be teaching us the couple dance tomorrow. man must dance with guy...

after school, i bought two incredibly large skirts although i only requested for 1 size larger. must go exchange sigh...

i quite like MJC, but on the other hand, i really miss my friends from xms! seriously miss them like crazy! i'm like so alone in MJC. but like what my sister said, i can make new friends who will introduce me to their friends, and therefore opening up my social circle. i really hope so...

i finally extended my ez-link card's concession :D no more $1.13 fare to meridian or having to bring 2 x 55 cents!

anyways, tomorrow is the start of meridian's orientation fortitude '09! hopefully it will be unforgetable :)

i will forget you.

sigh first day of jc life was boring. not what i had expected.

thought that there will be orientation immediately on the first day. instead, we had mass subject talks and demo lectures very tiring... sat in the hall and legs cramped like hell.

but anyway, ms lai turned out better than i had expected. teachers in MJC are also lively and humourous :D

now i really cant wait for orientation to start!

i'm posted to MJC. exactly like what i had expected. i like this JC a lot is just that i will be separated from my friends in 403... i only know of yong jie who is in meridian. oh well...

anyway i heard that ms esther lai is a really good principal, not like ****. and they sell japanese food in MJC so my life will be hell good!

can't wait for the next part of my life that awaits me in MJC!
